Context and objectives in the call for abstracts
ADIVET, the French association of green roofs and walls, is organizing the first World Green Roof Infrastructure Congress to be held in France, under the auspices of the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN). The event will take place in Nantes and focus on the greening of cities and infrastructure. Between 500 and 700 active participants active in this field are expected to attend: contractors, architects and landscape architects, city planners, economists, academic researchers, business representatives, and others. The scientific committee chaired by Julian Briz and composed of experts and researchers from around the world welcomes presentations on investigations, research, experiments, case studies, and creations in line with the theme of the congress, subject to selection.

Confirmation and registration deadline: End of May 2013

Instructions to the authors
Abstracts must be submitted in English or French; French abstracts must be accompanied by English translations
Abstracts are not to exceed 500 words. The abstract may contain two small illustrations which should be uploaded together in a separate document
An author cannot submit more than four different abstracts
For each abstract submitted, authors are required to provide the following information:
Type of presentation
Oral presentation only
Oral presentation or poster, the choice being left to the scientific committee
Type of contribution
Specify if the content is scientific/academic or not.
Presentations should be directly connected to green roofs and walls and address the following themes:
Ecological aspects (e.g. nature and agriculture in the city and biodiversity)
Technical, aesthetic, or architectural innovation
Project and worksite management
Urban planning policy
Regulations, standards, and certification
Case studies, projects, and completed work
List two to five keywords which can be used to identify your presentation.
